# PRIVACY POLICY *Screenwall Arts and Prints | Effective date: [TO BE SET AT PUBLICATION]* ## 1. Scope This Privacy Policy explains how Screenwall Arts and Prints collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you use the Screenwall platform, purchase products, apply as an Artist, participate in referrals, contact support or otherwise interact with Screenwall. Screenwall will comply with applicable Indian privacy and information-security law, including provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as and when those provisions are in force. ## 2. Data we collect We may collect account and identity data such as name, email address, mobile number, login/account identifiers and role. We may collect customer checkout and delivery data such as recipient name, mobile number, shipping address, city, state, PIN code and order notes. We collect order and payment-reconciliation data such as products, quantities, prices, discounts, order status, payment-provider order/payment identifiers and payment status. Full card credentials are processed by the payment provider and are not required to be stored by Screenwall. For Artists, we may collect profile information, biography, city/state/country, social/portfolio links, profile/cover images, artwork files, artwork declarations, originality/AI disclosures, evidence of creation/rights, agreement acceptances, royalties, referral earnings and settlement records. After an Artist records a first eligible sale, or earlier if the Artist voluntarily supplies the information, Screenwall may collect payout and tax data needed for settlement and compliance, including legal name as per PAN, PAN, bank-account holder name, bank name, bank-account number, IFSC, account type, verification status and related tax/KYC evidence where reasonably required. Bank-account information is financial information requiring heightened protection. Screenwall will restrict access, avoid exposing complete values in ordinary interfaces/logs, and use reasonable security controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. We may collect referral and analytics data such as referral code, attribution timestamp, landing/source information, analytics events, cookies and similar identifiers. We may collect technical/security data such as IP address, browser/device information, session identifiers, logs, timestamps, audit events and security/fraud signals. We may collect support and grievance data, including the content of communications and complaint/reference numbers. ## 3. Why we use personal data We use personal data to create and secure accounts; provide artist onboarding and dashboards; review and publish approved artwork; operate carts and checkout; process and reconcile payments; manufacture, package and deliver orders; provide confirmations and status communications; manage returns/refunds and customer support; calculate royalties/referral earnings and settlements; verify Artist payout/tax details; make Artist settlements; perform applicable tax deduction/reporting; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain audit/security logs; improve service functionality; comply with tax, accounting, consumer, legal and regulatory obligations; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Artist PAN and bank information will not be used for advertising or displayed publicly. Marketing communications will be sent only where permitted by law and applicable consent/opt-out rules. ## 4. Guest checkout profile and referral attribution To reduce repeated entry, an anonymous customer's validated checkout defaults may be stored server-side for up to 90 days using a separate random browser token stored in an HTTP-only cookie. The database stores only a cryptographic hash of the raw token. Referral attribution may use a cookie or similar mechanism for up to 30 days. Under the current referral rules, the last eligible referral attribution within the validity period may replace an earlier eligible attribution. These browser identifiers do not by themselves grant access to previous orders. ## 5. Cookies and similar technologies We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, security, cart/checkout continuity and other essential functions. We may use analytics or preference technologies to understand use of the site and improve it. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential processing, Screenwall will request it before activation. You can control many cookies through browser settings, although disabling necessary cookies may prevent account, cart or checkout functions from working correctly. ## 6. How we share information We may share information with service providers that need it to perform services for Screenwall, including hosting/cloud providers, authentication providers, payment processors such as Razorpay, email providers, manufacturers/production vendors, couriers/logistics providers, banks/payment providers used for Artist settlement, accountants/tax advisers, analytics/security providers, professional advisers and lawful government/regulatory/tax authorities. Artist PAN and bank information will be shared only to the minimum extent reasonably necessary for settlement, tax/accounting compliance, verification, fraud prevention, legal obligations or dispute resolution. We disclose only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and require service providers to handle it consistently with their role and applicable law. Artists do not ordinarily receive customer contact or delivery information merely because their artwork was sold. ## 7. International processing Some technology providers may process or store data outside India. Screenwall will use such services subject to applicable Indian law and any restrictions on cross-border transfers in force at the relevant time. ## 8. Data retention We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and for applicable tax, accounting, consumer, fraud-prevention, contractual, copyright, dispute and legal-retention requirements. Guest checkout defaults expire after approximately 90 days unless refreshed through subsequent valid use. Referral attribution ordinarily expires after 30 days unless the programme terms state otherwise. Artist PAN, bank/payout and settlement records may be retained for the duration of the Artist relationship and afterwards for the period reasonably required by tax, accounting, payment, fraud, legal and audit obligations. When full financial identifiers are no longer required, Screenwall may delete or further restrict them while retaining legally required settlement/audit records. Order, payment, agreement, royalty, settlement, grievance and audit records may be retained for longer periods where required for legal, accounting, evidentiary or compliance purposes. When data is no longer required, Screenwall will delete, anonymise or securely archive it as appropriate. ## 9. Security Screenwall uses reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Artist PAN and bank-account details will be treated as high-sensitivity operational data. Screenwall will use access restrictions, masking in ordinary interfaces, protection against accidental logging, and encryption or equivalent technical safeguards where reasonably practicable. Administrative access should be limited to personnel who need the information for settlement, accounting, compliance or support. No internet system is completely secure. Customers and Artists must protect passwords and promptly report suspected account compromise. Payment card and banking authentication credentials such as OTPs/PINs should be entered only into the authorised payment-provider or bank interface; Screenwall will not ask Artists or customers to send such credentials. ## 10. Your choices and rights Subject to applicable law, you may request access to information about your account, correction of inaccurate information, deletion/erasure where legally available, withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent, and grievance redressal. Some data cannot be deleted immediately where Screenwall must retain it for a paid order, settlement, tax, accounting, fraud, legal claim or other statutory purpose. To exercise applicable rights, contact Screenwall using the details below. Screenwall may verify identity before acting on a request. ## 11. Children The Artist programme is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Screenwall does not knowingly invite children to create independent Artist or purchasing accounts. A person under 18 should use the purchasing service only through a parent or lawful guardian. As child-data provisions under applicable Indian law come into force, Screenwall will apply required parental-consent and child-protection measures where relevant. ## 12. Marketing Where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted, Screenwall may send product, artist, programme or promotional communications. You may unsubscribe using the provided mechanism or by contacting Screenwall. Transactional messages about orders, security, agreements, settlements or service operation are not marketing and may still be sent where necessary. ## 13. Changes to this Policy We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology or business practices. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means and the effective date will be updated. ## 14.
